Krista Mohamed, PA
Krista Mohamed is a board certified Physician Associate since 2009. She joined Majmudar Allergy in 2023 and is committed to providing personalized and comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She specializes in environmental and food allergies, atopic skin diseases, mast cell disease, angioedema and asthma treatments. Krista works closely with Dr. Majmudar, ensuring continuity of care for all patients.
Krista graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology. She then attended the PA program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she graduated with top honors. Prior to working in the field of allergy, asthma, immunology, Krista was in the cardiothoracic surgery specialty. She enjoys teaching patients and prioritizes their understanding of both the diagnosis and the treatment plan. She is the biologic coordinator for the practice, ensuring that patients get the approval for the medication needed.
In her free time, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, traveling, fitness and cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
